Hello there! My name is Joshua J. Sarmina. I have lived in California for 17 years, and most of my family members live in California as well but some are living in different states or different countries. I’m happy that I’m not the only child and have 4 other siblings they are older than me, but I’m the tallest, beating my brother by 1 inch.

I have some talents that I hope are talents, but the one I like to show most is being flexible and being able to put my leg behind my head. I have been playing games since I was younger. My first console was the Nintendo 64 and then later on in the future, I’ve gotten my hands on other consoles, but games don’t stop me from doing my exercises.

I’ve been to Mexico many times to visit family. We go on boat rides, eat ice cream, and go to multiple fun places. My favorite place when we go there is a water park; it’s super huge and is my number one favorite water park. In Mexico, I got many friends there, even one that lives next to us. Their parents own a store, and I get to go in and play with my friends. I look white but I’m very much Hispanic.

What I would like to do in my future is actually to not be scared of money because I’m terrified of not having money to help my family and me so we won’t need to worry about any financial problems. So, that's why I’m trying to go to Channel Island University and finish school to get a job that would make me always have a smile on my face and earn money. Not only would I use my money to help my family and me, but I would also try to help the community.

Not only do I want to help people, but I want to protect the people and things I truly care for. I want to make them feel safe. I want them to feel comfortable and not worry about anything, so that's why I’m trying my ultimate best to make them smile, laugh, and have a great time even when I feel mad or another emotion that would equal to anger or sadness. I would try my best to make people feel genuine happiness. I just need a little bright side to look at I would try and make the day great.
