Imaginary Future – ‘All My Love’
Jesse Epstein, most commonly known as Imaginary Future, has released an album titled All My Love.
Dating back to about a year ago, he first released the song “All My Love” and started releasing song after song following that. He has finally put the songs into an album that runs for 36 minutes and has a total of 11 songs.

Just like in a lot of his other work, Jesse Epstein features his wife Kina Grannis in his backing vocals. This album is very different from his last work, and sounds a little more like his first album. This album contains many love songs which is why it’s called All My Love.
For the most part, the album is heavily guitar influenced. There are songs that are more on the acoustic side including “I Will Spend My Whole Life Loving You,” “We’ll Be Okay,” and “The First Thing I See.” However, there are also songs like “All My love,” and “I’m Meant to Be Loved by You,” that sound more like his side project Jome where the music is more on the alternative indie side.
Songs such as “I will spend my whole life loving you,” “Long Road Home,”and “The First Thing I See,” were songs that captivated me from the first listen. They are beautiful songs that can make you feel the love put into them. Even though they are love songs, they never get cheesy. Instead, they portray these raw emotions that aren’t commonly seen in music these days.
The song that really gets to me is “All My Love.” I heard this song back in September at a show Kina and Jesse played in Los Angeles at The Teragram Ballroom. The song is about the thought of losing your loved one unexpectedly. “All My Love” was written with the incident that took Christina Grimmie’s life in mind. This life is full of unforeseen events, things that can happen to anyone, but this song explains, “We don’t know what lies ahead We still have a ways to go For now I will take your hand And treasure what I get to hold.” At the end of the song, the lyric goes, “I want to breathe you in Use every moment up So when the light grows dim I’ve given all my love.”
Imaginary Future always makes amazing music. The production of the songs and the vocal harmonies are always what make the songs so soothing. His voice is sweet-sounding in everything he sings. The lyrics are remarkable, and they always have a way of taking a special place in the heart of the listener. All My Love is a beautiful and solid album, I recommend you give it a listen.
