  • Rain starts off as snow in the clouds due to how cold it is. When it comes down, the snow begins to melt which causes rain.
  • The maximum speed of a falling raindrop can differ from 18 to 22 miles per hour. Which can hurt.
  • Flash floods are caused when it rains a lot, which are reportedly more dangerous than a tornado, earthquake, and lightning.
