My name is Justin Englehart, I’m seventeen and a senior ready to graduate. While I’ve lived in Oxnard for over six years I was not born here. I was born in Nevada however I have lived in many different states and countries, a couple of my favorite places being Italy and Texas. A few of my favorite hobbies are screenwriting various short films and tv shows I want to produce, studying various media like tv shows and movies, and of course, playing video games. One of my favorite genres of music that I always listen to when I do these things is Lofi music. It offers me such peace of mind and clarity, something I greatly appreciate when I’m writing. Speaking of writing, my favorite type of stories to write about are romances and dramas, although I always try to add a fair share of comedy throughout my stories. As for my future, I guess it isn’t entirely hard to guess that I want to work in the film industry, as a screenwriter specifically. That means I’d be writing the scripts and scenes for various movies and shows I’d be working on. I’ve always known that I wanted to work in some industry that allows me to use my creativity but it wasn’t really until early last year that I knew screenwriting was the field I wanted to go into. Before I knew I wanted to be a screenwriter I had bounced around from job to job thinking I’d be an actor or an animator, but then I realized that as a screenwriter I’d for sure be able to tell the stories I wanted to tell.
