What is Fenty Beauty? Fenty Beauty is a cosmetics line made by singer and actress Robyn Fenty, most famously known by her stage name as Rihanna. Rihanna’s cosmetic line first launched September 8, 2017 during New York Fashion Week. Fenty Beauty was the first makeup brand to provide deeper foundation shades for people of color; the cosmetic brand is known to be one of the most inclusive brands with their shades. 

Fenty Beauty first launched their Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation with 40 shades. Along with that, she had also included in the launch blush, highlighter duo with a compact mirror, cream stick highlighters, makeup brushes, lip glosses, a beauty blender, and blotting paper

Now in 2021, Fenty Beauty has of course expanded. The makeup brand now sells gloss bomb (lipgloss), Skin Tint, Pro Filt’r Hydrating and Matte Longwear Foundation, Match Stix (Contour Sticks), Highlighter, Lip Paint, Blush, Powder Foundation, Setting Powder, Concealer, Bronzer, Eyeshadow Pallets, Brightening Eye Cream, Shimmer Sticks, Eyeliner, Primer, and more. 

In the past, I have also indulged in buying a few items from Fenty Beauty, specifically their hydrating Pro Filt’r foundation. So far I can say I fairly enjoy the product; I don’t lean towards full coverage foundation and like a more natural/lightweight look, for those who agree, I would definitely recommend this product as your best fit! Another bonus from this line is that it does have a more affordable and reasonable price range, the foundation retails for $36 USD and is available in Sephora both in store and online.
