Covid-19 is an infectious disease. Experts say Covid arose in bats. It emerged from a bat-borne virus. The first case of Coronavirus had a link to a whole food market in Wuhan. The first case was reported on December 31, 2019, in Wuhan China. Covid is mainly spread from person to person from coughing, sneezing, or talking.

The symptoms for Covid are fever and chills, cough, shortness of breath, or some people have difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea. Symptoms appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People who are more at risk are people who have cancer, chronic kidney disease, COPD, Immunocompromised state from solid organ transplant and obesity. It’s caused severe health issues for adults over the age of 60. Conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and other chronic illnesses can cause severe health issues as well. Regardless of the age everyone should take precautions and wash their hands, avoid nonessential travel, and large groups of people also disinfecting frequently touched objects. https://www.nwhn.org/how-does-covid-19-affect-different-age-groups/

The largest numbers of confirmed cases are in the United States, Italy, Spain, and France. A lot of places and events have been shut down all over the world because of this pandemic. Covid has shut down schools, clubs, stores, events, and businesses. One of the most big and important things that Covid shut down across California was schools. Some schools that have opened are keeping their distance and have to wear masks all day in school. Also, some stores are already open and in business but in every store we enter in the United States and other places where the cases are big, we have to wear masks. Masks are a priority.
