How Technology Affects Teenagers

Technology makes teenagers more lonely because every time they use there phone they forget about the people surrounding them. They forget how to use their basic communication skills because they don’t interact with each other. They are to busy with there technology that they don’t know what happens around them.

For example, when I was fourteen years old I remember that I used to communicate and laugh a lot with my siblings. But when I got my first phone I started to ignore them because I was to busy watching videos on Youtube, or texting on Instagram, snap chat, and other apps. Technology is really important but at the same time, it affects our lives and the people that surround us.

Teenagers spend more time on Instagram and snapchat rather than playing a sport and being physically active. They always depend on there phones or any type of technology. When they start to get to attached on their phones they will start to compare themselves with others. A lot of the times they won’t focus on what’s really important in life.

What is more important to them is the number of likes they get or the number of followers they have. If they don’t have a lot of followers they will start to think that there not perfect and they start to give a bad attitude to the people around them.
