  • Lions love to live in groups.
  • Male lions are heavy and powerful most male lions can grow up to 10 feet in length they can weigh between 330 to 550 pounds.
  • Female lions are not as big but are still very dominant they usually grow up to 9 feet and weight around 265 – 395 pounds.
  • Females have to hunt for the group, males guard the territory and fight the predators.
  • A lion’s body is specifically made for hunting.
  • Male lions can live for 12 years and females for 15 years estimated.
  • Most lions live in North America, Europe, and Africa.
  • A group of lions is called a pride.

  • They can live without water for at least five days.
