JBL is an American corporation that manufactures loudspeakers. The company has two independent  division  within the company the first one is JBL consumer and the second one is JBL professional. At first they  produce audio equipment for the consumer home market. Then they produce professional equipment for studio, installed sound, tour sound, portable sound, and cinema markets

JBL is owned by Harman International Industries, a subsidiary of South Korean company Samsung Electronics. JBL was founded by James Bullough Lansing in 1946. James was an  American audio engineer and loudspeaker designer most notable for establishing two audio companies that has his name.
