Easy Vegan Burgers

  • 1 1/2 cups of quinoa
  • 1-15 ounce can of black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 cup and 2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
  • Olive oil to brown burgers
  • ¬†Optional toppings: avocado, tomato, lettuce, onion, vegan mayo, ketchup


  • Add all the ingredients together and 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs, mix until its still a little chunky.
  • Put in a bowl and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from refrigerator mix the remainder of breadcrumbs into the mix.
  • Make into patties and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  • Heat a large pan over medium heat and coat with a small amount of oil.
  • Cook the burgers for 5 minutes on each side or until crispy.
