Osamu Tezuka is one of the most influential manga artist of all time, he was the founder of manga and he made great works. He first started in 1950 with his first manga tetsuwan atom or as we know in the U.S., Astro Boy. Astro Boy wasn’t the only good manga he made other great works of his like black jack and dororo. Osamu Tezuka was a fan of animation, and so he wanted his work to be shown on television. so he stared an animation studio so he can make his manga come to life the first show he made was Astro Boy. Astro Boy was realest in 1963. Astro Boy was also the first anime. Today if you were to look at Tezuka’s work you can see were some anime tropes came from, with out Tezuka we wouldn’t have anime now.
