Portions of Pacific Coast Highway and Highway 33 are closed due to rain concerns. Rain is expected to continue throughout the week for Ventura County and surrounding counties. As of 2pm this afternoon, Simi Valley has received 1.44 inches of rain, Thousand Oaks with 1.26 inches and Fillmore with 1.30 inches. Oxnard has had 0.64 inches of rain thus far. The PCH is closed from Las Posas Road in Ventura County to Broad Beach Road in Malibu. Highway 33 is closed from Wheeler Gorge and Highway 166. The Pacific Coast Highway has remained close due to possible rocks in the roadway and mud as of 11:20 am 1/14/2019. The 33 has been closed since 1pm due to snow.
