I personally think animal testing should stop and here is why. Animal testing is very sad, cruel and is a gruesome industry. Animals suffer and many die when they are being used in a laboratory or any testing. Many people say animal testing should stop to prevent more waste of animal life, others think animal testing has contributed to many life saving cures and treatments .

Each year more than 100 million animals die including dogs, cats, mice, rabbits, fish, birds and many other species. Animals suffer every day in laboratories with little or no protection from cruelty. Alternative testing methods now exist that can be used instead of animals.

Diseases cured with animal testing :

• Breast cancer
• Autism
• Childhood blindness
• brain injury
• childhood leukemia
• Stroke
• Artificial heart
