Barbering Over College

Barbering+Over+College

Over the years, becoming a barber at a young age has almost become a trend. More and more teenagers are interested in becoming a barber because it offers an alternative to the youth who are interested in the craft. Personally, I want to pursue my barbering career instead of going to college. While many adults and teachers have told me that I shouldn’t become a barber and that I should just follow the traditional route of going to college. My response to that is always the same, I don’t want to go to college because I refuse to do what is expected of me to do.

I want to be the pioneer of my own life and I want to be able to say that I was the only one responsible for any success I might achieve. There is many benefits to becoming a barber instead of going to college: you work on your own terms, you get paid daily and in cash, and you get to live the lifestyle that comes with being a barber.

Being a barber is more than just cutting hair, its about give an experience and selling a feeling to your client. Some people do just conform with being behind the chair and cutting hair for the rest of their lives. I simply do not see myself like that, I aspire to build my own brand from the bottom all the way to the top.
