Nike returns with its special selection of city edition uniforms.

This year continues its new tradition of paying homage to the NBA cities that are special than the rest.

From major figures to landmark locations and unforgettable sayings, the league’s top players will soon wear some head-turning jerseys while competing at the highest level.

The Minnesota Timberwolves will rock  a “Purple Rain-esque” unis channeling Prince’s legendary sound, while the Brooklyn Nets pay homage to The Notorious B.I.G. with a Coogi sweater-inspired trimming. Other organizations such as the Oklahoma City Thunder, Philadelphia 76ers and more will sport these jerseys with influence from heritage, history and beyond.
