The first degree burn is a skin burn characterized by a superficial epidermal lesions. The burn is very sensitive especially if you decide to touch the burn.

The second degree burn is a skin burn that is characterized by epidermal and dermal lesions, erythema, blisters and hyperesthesia. The second degree burn can cause pain, redness, swelling and blistering.

The third degree burn is a skin burn in which epidermis and dermis are destroyed. This type of burn produces severe hyperthesia or anethesia depending on the degree of the nerve damage.
