Hueneme High School is a place where the students are friendly and the staff is willing to lend a helping hand. My school was founded in the year of 1959 in the heart of South Oxnard. Here in campus of Hueneme, we offer many clubs to join, such as: MECHA, YES Academy, ASB, and Yearbook, just to name a few. We have tons of sports here, for example: basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, tennis, track & field, volleyball, water polo, wrestling, and baseball. Hueneme High also has alumni that have gone on to bigger and better things in life, here are some of the former students that have: Freddie Bradley (NFL), Keary Colbert (NFL), Charles Dillon (NFL), Ronney Jenkins (NFL), Josh Pinkard (NFL), Josh Towers (MLB), Jerry Willard (MLB), and Dave Laut (Olympic Medalist). I’m proud to be able to say that I’ve been part of this Viking Familia for a pending four years now, and say “Once a Viking, always a Viking”.
