How Chick-fil-A was created

In 1946, Truett Cathy opened a tiny diner called the Dwarf Grill in Hapeville, Georgia. It was in this diner where Truett developed the signature Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich  and the quality service for which the family-owned business is known. It all started with a boneless breast of chicken. Hand breaded, and perfectly seasoned. Served on a toasted, buttered bun with two pickles. The exact way Chick-fil-A still makes their famous chicken sandwiches to this day. The family-owned business has grown well beyond its roots opening its first mall location in 1967, the first standalone restaurant was opened in 1986. And now selling their brand service food in 47 states and including Washington, D.C. Every Sunday all Chick-fil-A locations are closed and you might be asking why? Truett Cathy the creator of the corporation believed that all Chick-fil-A restaurants and employees should have an opportunity to rest and to spend time with family.
