On September 28, 2018, I went for the first time to Halloween Horror Nights. If you don’t know what that is, don’t worry I’ll sum it up. It is held annually at Universal Studios. During the day it runs normal and then during the night is when this attraction is brought to life. Here, the main goal is to scare you and make you scream. There is an assortment of haunted mazes, the majority are based off of hit horror movies like Halloween, The Poltergeist, and many more. Although, the mazes tend to change every year, usually based on what Horror movie has recently came out, factors like that. Aside from the mazes there are actors portrayed as monsters that walk around and scare you as you’re trying to get around the park.

I personally had a ton of fun attending, and I’m so glad that I got the opportunity. I can’t say that I didn’t get scared, because trust me, I did. Even before even getting there I was very anxious, I didn’t know what to expect. Once I got there I started to calm down and realized that it’s not that big of a deal, and I was right. Sure it’s scary, but the thrill of it all can be so much fun. Being able to laugh at how spooked you got and bringing up the fact that it wasn’t even that scary after all. Overall, it was a great and tiring night full of screaming and laughing. I do recommend people to go, maybe not little kids, unless you think they can handle it.
