• Swatch your foundation on your neck not your hands!! Most likely your hands are darker than your face due to the sun exposure.
• Decide what kind of coverage you want. Liquid tends to have a fuller coverage over power.
• Pinpoint what undertone your skin is by looking at your veins. If your veins are blue/purple your skin most likely has a cool undertone, blue/green is neutral, and green/olive tends to be warm.
• If your trying to decide between two foundations, chose the lighter one because its easier to bronze your face, then to lighten and blend the foundation out.
• Identify if your skin is oily, normal or dry. Most foundations a formulated for specific skin types.
