On May 3rd 2018, the Kilauea volcano finally erupted after 35 years. For the last couple days there’s been a couple earthquakes that went to a 5.0 magnitude. The lava from the volcano has spread a couple feet from homes and people that live close to the volcano had to be evacuated and they had to leave their homes. No deaths and injuries has been reported and also the evacuation for the people had to be mandatory.

Also the lava that is coming out of the cracks of the earths ground ,there’s also been small earthquakes but has not caused any severe damage. All of this incident has happened since Thursday around 5:00 .p.m. Many people have been affected by it and are afraid that their belongings and pets will not be saved. The lava from the volcano has spread within 200 yard wide behind a house in the Leilani Estates.
