On April 27, 2018 history was made when the North and South Korea leaders decided to make amends and end the 65 year old war.

When they met up it was all smiles when they shook hands on the border of South and North Korea. Kim Jong Un stepped on South soil first then invited Moon to step on North soil. No other leader has stepped on each others territories since the war began 65 years ago. They later finished up their discussion in South Korea.

They had a private conversation for longer than 30 minutes and also planted a tree together as a symbol of ending the war.

It is said that Donald Trump is meeting up with Kim Jong Un in May.
