Last Friday was national walk out day to honor the people who lost their life during the parkland shooting and to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Columbine high school massacre. The walk out started  at 9:55 and was a speech by Ms. Wayne.

After the little speech by ms. Wayne, there was a 17 minute moment of silence for the 17 teens and adults. There was a poster with the pictures of the fallen people on that fateful day. After the 17 minutes, several Hueneme students bravely went to the middle of the circle to speak about their minds and what they thought about the current gun laws and how we should all register to vote so we can have the laws looked at and changed. Have a voice!
