Charter Bus Falls Into a Ravine

The bus was returning back to Houston, Texas after a school field trip when it crashed at 5:30 into a median on interstate 10 and plunged into Cowpen Creek, Alabama. The bus was filled with high school students plunging into a 50-foot ravine. Dozens were trapped inside the mangled vehicle until rescuers rippled down to free them. The bus driver died at the scene and many people were injured and rushed to a hospital in Alabama or Florida by a helicopter or an ambulance.
