Liberal Student Organizations Get 20 Times More Funding At Universities

The vast majority of money allocated to students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison went to left leaning groups, according to Campus Reform.

The higher education reported that students paid more than $48 million in mandatory fees in 2017 with approximately $1.5 million of that going to student organizations. Left-leaning organizations received 95 percent of that funding, compared to just 4.5 percent for the right-leaning groups

Which means that each student paid $7.60 towards causes, and a small percentage towards conservative groups.

On “Fox and Friends”, University of Wisconsin Madison student and Campus Reform correspondent Abby Streu said conservatives and libertarians on campus are “pretty sick” organizations receiving 20 to 1 funding advantage.

She said its true that students of any political affiliation can run for student government and vote, but the campus is overwhelming left-leaning so its difficult for conservatives to break through the “liberal echo chamber.”
