On the date of March 3, 2018 the Hueneme girls Basketball took the CIF Championship back home. It was an amazing game to watch as the Lady Viking took home the Win and the CIF championship. It was a spectacle and I was an honor to watch the team working hard to take the Championship back to Hueneme. Its the First time in Hueneme Girls Basketball History that they brought back a CIF Championship and truly it was a victory well deserved. We now know that they will be heading off to state and hopefully bring back a state championship and Hueneme will be here cheering them on when they get back with that state trophie that is long overdue for Hueneme High School.
