Aileen Hernandez, Contributor
I’m Aileen Hernandez, a fifteen-year-old junior in high school that will turn sixteen in a couple of days. I own three dogs: Dior, Prada, and Molly, (all female French bulldogs), along with a male kitten named Leo. I am from Oxnard, CA, born and raised. I’ve been to Mexico and Texas, both very beautiful places if I must say. A “talent” I have is playing the accordion, which truly fascinates me. I love horror movies, talking about conspiracy theories, and watching murder documentaries. Lions and snakes are by far my favorite animals. They’re honestly beautiful animals that I think are misunderstood. I look up to Saint Jude and the Virgin Mary, as well as the Greek goddess Medusa, who is also greatly misunderstood. My favorite colors are pink and emerald green. I use off-roading as my escape from reality. I am obsessed with reading and listening to music. I highly recommend ‘The Devil’s Night’ series by Penelope Douglas. Some accomplishments I have are getting recognized by my favorite musician that plays the accordion along with becoming a cosmetologist. I also want to open my own beauty salon in the future. During my free time, I play accordion as well as read. Some things I really want to do before I die have to be skydiving, traveling to Italy, and traveling to Dubai. In the future, I’m hoping to be a cosmetologist or a well-known accordion player. Some random facts about me are that I breed and sell French bulldogs with my siblings. I was taught how to drive at the age of 13 (hoping I get my permit this year) and I was given a truck and an RZR for my fifteenth birthday. I am really looking forward to all the different topics we’ll write about for my “Writing for Publication” class. Some last details about me are that I really want to buy a lion cub when I turn eighteen. Last but not least, at the age of about 8, I rode a bull with my grandpa. It was an awesome experience. Well, that’s all I have to share. Thank you for your time.
