Zion Williamson Makes His NBA Debut
January 27, 2020
The long-awaited NBA debut for the #1 overall rookie, Zion Williamson, has finally arrived. The hype has been going on for months ever since he got injured during the preseason. Now he’s healthy and back to doing what he does best.
Ever since he was in high school, everyone thought he was the next LeBron James because of his size, strength and crazy athleticism. He was an even bigger problem from when he committed to Duke University and he was dominating with Cam Reddish, RJ Barrett, and Tre Jones. Then being selected as the #1 overall pick to the New Orleans Pelicans in the NBA Draft.
In his debut, he scored 22 points and shot 4-4 from the 3 point line, while playing 18 minutes. Not bad for his first game back from injury. There are many more games to come and will there be enough time for Zion to be the Rookie of the Year. Who knows.
