Facts about colors
December 2, 2019
Color is the characteristic of visual perception described through color categories, with names such as red, orange, yellow, green, blue, or purple. This perception of color derives from the stimulation of cone cells in the human eye by electromagnetic radiation in the visible spectrum.
The total number of colors we can see is about 1000 x 100 x 100 = 10 million. A computer displays about 16.8 million colors to create full- color pictures, really more than necessary for most situations. The 10 main colors are red, blue, pink, yellow, green, purple, gold, orange, brown, and black.
