Opening day is when professional baseball players have their first game. MLB season will open on the earliest days ever, major league baseball says all 30 teams will play on March 28, the earliest opening day in history.

The previous earliest opening day was March 29 of this year. MLB released the 2019 schedule Wednesday. So far the Dodgers are looking good this year.

The reason is because they won against the diamondbacks and they had 8 home runs that game. Usually opening day begins on the first week of April.

So that’s not just for the Dodgers all the teams in the league compete. They compete and play all the way until the world series begins and the world series begins when all teams get eliminated and its the last couple teams left and they play for the trophy.
