Types of Ear Piercings You Can Get

- Standard Lobe Piercing- This is your standard piercing you get on your earlobes and is the most popular. Very simple most say it is just a pinch and its over. The types of jewelry you can wear are endless like hoops, dangling studs, small studs etc.
- Transverse Lobe- This piercing is placed on the ear lobe but the needle sides from on side to another doing across. Jewelry for this piercing is very simple and has no options for jewelry except for a straight barbell and a curved barbell.

- Tragus- The placement of this piercing is in the small bit of cartilage that joins the head. Jewelry for this piercing that can be used is a captive bead ring, stud, clicker or horseshoe.

- Helix- This piercing is also common next to the standard lobe piercing. There is quite also a variety of jewelry like clicker, studs, captive bead rings. It is placed in either in two spots your middle cartilage or at the top of you ear cartilage.

- Forward Helix- Forward Helix is placed in the top fold of your ear that is connected to the head. The jewelry what be used are mostly studs and maybe a captive bead ring.

- Flat- A flat is almost like a helix piercing but toward the middle of the top cartilage of the ear this piercing is very unique not very many people have it. As for the jewelry there is not much you can put besides a stud.
- Snug- The area that is pierced for this is like the tragus but on the opposite side of the ear. Jewelry for this is just simple with a barbell or a stud.

- Conch- This piercing is placed right in the center of the ear where it dips in. Many people like this because it is kinda like an orbital but less complicated what can be worn is a captive bead ring or a barbell, stud.

- Daith- Daith is very hidden in the ear like in the further part where it folds in. Jewelry that can be worn in this piercing is a rook clicker and a captive bead ring.

- Rook- This piercing is also a little bit hidden in the ear it is pierced in the small bit of cartilage that is right next to the area that the forward helix would be pierced. Jewelry for this piercing is a rook clicker, captive bead ring, or curved barbell.
