March 27, 2019
Babe Ruth was a star in his time of baseball. He was a star because he was like the only one that was able to hit home runs. Babe Ruth hit about 60 home runs in 1927. But in today’s day a player to hit 14% of all home-runs today, he would have to hit over 300 home runs. Babe Ruth was born on February 6, 1895 as George Herman Ruth. Ruth was also sent to a Catholic Boys Reformatory school at age 7 . All the children are trained with an industrial career.
Young Ruth played baseball at the school, he didn’t really want to play but thanks to encouragement by monks he did. He was signed to the Major Leagues at the age of 19. Babe Ruth also had many cool nicknames for being one of the baseball GOATS.
