The Toyota supra MKIV was released in 1993 in Japan. The supra has a 3 liter 326 twin turbo engine. It has a RWD drive train and 6 speed manual. The supra is a very reliably, those who own one know it. When it passes 100,000 miles mark it doesn’t have any hiccups and the paint on the car will still be good. With those numbers it was very uncommon for cars in that time to have any problems. Also the supra had lot of things on it so it can save weight like an aluminum hood, front crossmember, upper control arms and even the spoiler was made hallow to save weight. The supra starts off with 320 hp but with little effort you can bump it up to 500 hp. The 2jz is a strong engine its a nearly indestructible shot block, its capable of withstanding 2,000 hp, its also very easy to work on. A good thing about the 2jz it came with twin turbo so you can get easy power from that. Some bad things about the car is that it was a high entry cost and it was the least exotic car in the Japanese super car market it also had poor flowing cylinder heads. Besides those bad thing people still love the car. Now the car is one of the top jdm cars.
