Many stores in the United States have been closed throughout the years, but why is it happening so much lately? 2018 was another one of many years that were very challenging for traditional retailers. After shutting more than 5,000 stores in 2017, and more than 3,000 store closures announced over the past few months for the year 2018, as well for this year 2019 that nearly 5000 stores have closed and its expected for more to follow this action.But why is this happening, the answers is the same one that has always been,when a store is closing its because it does not meet the customer’ needs, also another reason is  that the role of technology plays now days is more big and continued growing.

Many of us already order almost everything online we do not go out to the mall and try to find what we want store by store we just search it and it comes right to the front door. It seem as the stores are just rushing to get all their products out and be done with it,  nevertheless it is not as it looks this process has been happening since many years back.It’s just that now with the amount of online only stores actual store do not work as they used to. There are not too many benefits about the actual store now days I think there is less benefits than inconveniences. So in the future do not be surprised if mall and traditional retailers disappeared for ever.
