Interesting facts about Jupiter :

1. Jupiter is the third brightest planet on the solar system.

2. It has the shortest days out of all the planets as it turns on its axis once every 9 hours and 55 minutes.

3. Jupiter orbits the Sun only once every 11.8 Earth years. Because it takes months to move from one constellation to another.

4. Jupiter have very unique clouds because the upper atmosphere is made of cloud belts and zones.

5. Jupiter is most known for its Big Red Spot, it has raged for 350 years it is large enough to fit three earths.

6. Its interior is made up of rock, metal and hydrogen compounds.

7. Jupiter is special not just of its unique clouds but its whole atmosphere. Because it is the solar system’s largest planetary atmosphere as the air is mostly made up of hydrogen and helium.

 

8. Jupiter’s largest moon is Ganymede and it is also the largest moon in the solar system.
