The Trojan Horse is one of history’s most famous tricks. The Greeks were laying siege to the city of Troy and the war had dragged on for ten years. The Greeks constructed a huge hollow wooden horse to gain entrance into Troy during the Trojan war. The Greeks left the wooden horse outside.

The Trojans believe the horse was a peace offering and dragged it inside the city. However, hidden inside the horse was a group of Greek warriors. While the Trojans slept, the Greeks crept out. They killed the guards and throw open the doors of the city to the rest of the army. The city was captured and the war was over.
