Throughout the years, rock music has slowly started to become less of a trend due as a result of the hip-hop “trap” scene began to take off. Rock music however, has always and will always be appreciated by those who were fans when bands were in their beginning or by those who have had their music taste passed on by their parents.

Rock ‘n’ Roll has been influenced by many different types of music as well and has paved the way for originality, self expression and free thought. It has allowed artists to speak on political issues and influence government. And it is credited with integrating the teens of the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s and helping black artists get played on mainstream radio.

Rock ‘n’ roll has even influenced cultures in different parts of the world, especially Europe. Rock ‘n’ roll has many different forms from heavy metal to classic rock, punk, alternative, and grunge.
