This past weekend I went up north to visit a friend who attends Berkeley, I’ve never been to the northern part of California in my lifetime, so this trip was very special to me. My friend and I left on a crisp Friday morning, we got to Berkeley around 7pm, which was a great time to arrive as my friend had freshly finished her midterm. After dropping our luggage off in her dorm we went to a vigil held at Sproul Hall, this big beautiful building off of the main campus. After attending the vigil we headed down Campanile Way, where this big pointy-looking thing is located, it has a clock that strikes at every hour. The air quality in the Bay Area was horrible but we had gotten used to the smoke, eventually at the end of out trip my lungs had felt like they were burning. The whole weekend was a blast and I hope I can go back soon!
