Armistice  day better known as veterans day is to honor Military Veterans, this Holiday also commemorates the end of world war 1. World war 1 ended on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in the year 1918 and this day is also celebrated by many European countries who participated in the war but it goes by different names such as Remembrance day or Armistice day, in 1954 Armistice day was officially changed  to veterans day in the U.S.

This veterans day take the time out of your day to go to one of the many parades and thank the veterans they do/did something few can and even fewer do
