Pablo Emilio Escobar Gaviria was born in Rionegro, Colombia, and grew up nearby Medellin. Pablo also known as Don Pablo or El Patron was a a man of his word.  He wanted to be the president of Colombia, He was a good person the treated people with respect, and  he was a great man who gavpoor people better opportunities at living better life’s.

Escobar wasn’t only a great person, he was also a drug lord and a brilliant criminal who controlled “El Cartel De Medellin”. He was known as one of the most powerful men in the world. Pablo was a really smart person that knew that he would be safer if the common people of Medellin love him.

While Pablo Escobar was alive he spent a lot of money on parks, schools, stadiums, churches, and even housing for the poorest of Medellin. His strategy worked, Escobar was been loved by the common people, who saw him as a local boy who had done well and was giving back to his community but not only helped his community but also made Colombia a better place.

In 1993, December 2 the month of Christmas Pablo Emilio Escobar Gaviria was shoot more then 5 times all over his body across the rooftops of the barrio Los Olivos in his hometown of Medellin where he had been hiding. After his dead the country settled for the peace that came with knowing he was gone. Pablo always said “I would rather have a grave in Colombia than a jail in the U.S.”
