The Pros and Cons of Eating Oranges

Oranges are a universal fruit, you can find them everywhere, in your food, drinks, and even printed onto clothing! Although the citrusy fruit is certainly delicious, there are sometimes consequences.

Pros

– Oranges may help lower your risk of an ischemic stroke.

– Eating oranges can sometimes lower your blood pressure.

– Oranges are known for its vitamin C antioxidants which help battle free radicals known to cause cancer.

Cons

– Eating a lot of oranges can be harmful to those with kidneys that are not fully functional.

– Oranges are high in sugar.

– You need amino acids to live, and oranges do not deliver the amount needed.
