Gucci generated around 3 billion dollars worldwide in 2008 and still to this day the number are rising. It made it to the Top Global Brands chart made by Inter brand. Its’s the highest  selling Italian brand. Their is to this day 550 stores worldwide and its net worth is estimated to be 12.5 billion dollars. Although Gucci began in Italy, a country known for its fashion, the style was inspired by those living in London and around England.When it first began, the company manufactured quality leather luggage items. Handbags and briefcases are still some of the most popular Gucci items to purchase
