Gangrene is a condition that can result to either an amputation of a limb or death. Diabetes can also be the cause of gangrene. Gangrene can occur when there’s a lack of blood flow which can result to tissue death. It can cause extremities but can also affect internal tissues in the body. There can also be surgical complications that can lead to internal gangrene. Gangrene is a very serious disease because it can get infected quickly! Most people that have to get an amputation can be the cause of gangrene. It can also prevent a serious illness and death.
