Maria is a senior here at Hueneme High School and one of the contributors to the Voyager.

1. If you could be any animal on earth, what would you be?

Um. I’d want to be a pet dog, they don’t have to do anything but live their lives. They live like kings.

2. What’s your dream job?

I always wanted to be a vet and help animals, but now I want to be a therapist.

3. What’s your favorite thing about Hueneme?

The garden.

4. All-time favorite movie?

HALLOWEEN or Beauty and the Beast, I never get tired of watching them.

5. If you had to be stuck on an island with anyone of your choosing, who would it be?

Daryl Dixon from the Walking Dead or I mean Norman Reedus, yeah Norman Reedus is cool.

6. What’s your favorite subject?

Language arts.

7. Who’s your all-time favorite teacher?

Um, I don’t have one but if I had to choose, it would be Mr. Cabral.

8. What’s your favorite song?

Oof this is hard, I listen to a lot of music but um, the first song that comes to mind is Big Jet Plane by Angus & Julia Stone.

9. What’s a piece of advice you’d give for junior year?

Really focus on your grades and school, you’re almost out so don’t ruin it. Also to just enjoy these last years because it honestly goes by so fast, and DON’T STRESS. Just calm down because trust me, you will have a mental breakdown.

10. What’s your best memory from high school so far?

I don’t just have one, I have so many memories with my friends.
