How to Raise a Puppy

Raising a puppy is difficult and to some is something new. If you don’t have any experience raising a puppy it might be hard. Every dog is different and how they act is soling depending on what you decide to teach them. If you mistreat a dog then the dog might be afraid of you and get mad when it gets older and bite you. However if you love a dog and give them love and time they will learn to love you back and become your companion.

It also a lot of money and time. The license fee and shots add up plus you need toys for them to chew on for when they start teething. Its also a good thing to give them baths once a week once they get passed 2 months old. Another thing to do is while the puppy gets their shots is not to take them out because they could possibly get sick. The city here in Oxnard usually give you till a certain time to get your dog registered. In order to get your dog registered you need to have your dog have all its shot and that usually takes about 2 month since you cant give the puppy all the injections at once. If you choose to not get your dog registered the city can take it and charge you up to $1000 in fees.

Another tip is if you buy an unfixed dog if you register it unfixed it might cost you more to register the dog.To get a dog fixed can usually cost under $100 or less.If your a very clumsy person i would recommend get your dog chipped so if they ever run away you can see where the dog might be at. To get your dog chipped usually isn’t to expensive either. These are just some tips on raising a puppy.
