October 18, 2018
Mother pandas are most likely to give birth in July to September. When baby pandas are born they are very tiny, blind, and a little pink with a few hairs. The limbs of a newborn panda are still very weak. Baby pandas cannot stand at all by themselves until 2 months after birth. The pandas only feed off milk and sleep. After a week, the pandas start growing blackish hair on their ears. When they turn 3 months old their limbs start becoming stronger . They can start walking as far as a meter which is only 3 feet. At 6 months, the baby panda starts eating bamboo. Around spring time the growing process gets faster after 6 months. At a year panda cubs continue to live their life with their mothers for a year and a half, until the mother is pregnant. If the mother panda is pregnant she will not conceive for the cub panda anymore the cub panda will have to feed itself.
