The National Museum of Mathematics or MoMath is a museum dedicated to mathematics in Manhattan, New York. It has an award winning museum that highlights the role of mathematics in illuminating the patterns and structures all around us. It’s a dynamic exhibits, gallery, and programs are designed to stimulate inquiry, spark curiosity and reveal the wonders of mathematics.
Some brief history is that the National Museum of Mathematics began in response to the closing of a small museum of mathematics on Long Island, the Goudreau Museum. A group of interested parties met in August 2008 to explore the creation of a new museum of mathematics.
