This debate has been on going for years. In 1994 the first PlayStation was made The PlayStation one (PS1) it gain lots of popularity for being one of the first gaming console’s at its time. Couple years after that in 2000 PlayStation came out with the PlayStation 2 (PS2) so Xbox.. one year later in 2001 came out with there very own gaming console. The Xbox. This is where the debate started which gaming console is better since then PlayStation and Xbox have tried multiple times to out beat their opponents. Both the company’s made different consoles to try and improve their consumers gaming experience more. Xbox soon released there newer console called the Xbox 360 which was released in 2005. This console blew up being the top selling console in that year, so PlayStation acted quick and came out with the PlayStation 3. Those two consoles were dominate in the gaming community. For years people would play all the latest games that come out online, such as Call of Duty, Halo, and Gears of War. And so the debate began to intensify both consoles were doing well the majority of the gaming community was half and half on which console was better, so in 2013 PlayStation and Xbox both realized that they both were doing very well but they wanted to make them better to compete. Those consoles are named the PlayStation 4 (PS4) and the Xbox One both very good quality running off 1080p HD. For the past 5 years the gaming community still is indecisive of what console is more dominate.
