Whale Sharks are very interesting animals to watch ans study. They are one of few big animals that are harmless to humans. They are definitely a strange animal because they look like a monster from a science lab. Although they don’t hurt humans they can easily swallow one if one is in their way when eating.

Whale sharks are the biggest type of fish alive. They can reach a length of 18-32 ft. They are not aggressive towards humans and don’t eat big fish. They feed on plankton, krill and small fish.They have up to 3,000 tiny teeth that are not used to eat food. The size of their teeth are 6 mm long. The Whale Shark is the biggest fish in the ocean with the Great White right behind it. Although they are a type of shark they do not act or eat like a regular shark. They are calm and sometimes swim near the surface of the ocean and allow humans to touch them and be near them.

They look like whales but at the end their tails do not match with the other whales so therefore it is also considered a shark. It is surprising to know that these fish didn’t come out to be like the other sharks wild and very aggressive.Whale Sharks roam around all tropical and warm-temperate seas. They swim around where ever they want and occasionally dive to depths of 1,800 meters. The only difference between whales and them is that whales go up to the surface to release their air and get more.
