The most advanced warship arrived on Japan, they are preparing against any ballistic missile attacks during the meeting. The meeting consist of U.S. president Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un they hope to come to a settlement of leaving alone their ballistic missile program.
Trump the U.S. President will most likely postpone the meeting. He stated that “June 12 might not work for us.” The USS Milius got several upgrades before arriving to Japan.
Trump wants to have military backup in case anything occurs. The Japanese Naval leadership in Yokosuka welcomed the U.S. warship. Yokosuka’s commanding officer, Capt. Jeffrey Kim stated, “Fleet Activities Yokosuka is very happy to welcome the entire Milius team, I
ncluding their families, to their new home,” said Kim, who oversees the U.S. Navy’s largest overseas installation. “As a community, we look forward to supporting USS Milius as one of 13 Forward Deployed Naval Force ships stationed here in Yokosuka.”
